Build from source
Compile Rain locally when you have the rainc repository.
Rain is a C bytecode VM. Clone the private rainc repo, run make, and use the ./rain binary in the project root.
On macOS you may need libcurl, sqlite3, and libsodium (e.g. brew install curl sqlite libsodium). On Linux install build-essential plus libcurl, sqlite3, libsodium, and openblas dev packages.
Clone and build
Compile the VM from the rainc repo with `make`.
git clone git@github.com:yugal109/rainc.git
cd rainc
make
./rain hello.rnRelease build
Optimized binary without debug symbols: good for benchmarking.
make release
./rain --versionClean rebuild
Wipe object files and compile from scratch.
make clean && make
